Its been a veryyyy slow start to Winter over here where i live in the NW, we havnt had that many good days yet which is pretty weird considering its almost August its fucking ridiculous actually!!!!!!

Had alot of fun waves the last few weeks around Kalbarri theres been a few days down the beach breaks and just a variety of rippable waves but no big Epic days:(

HEARD YOU AND KERBY HAVE BEEN FLYING TO SPOTS NOT DRIVING ANYMORE IS THIS TRUE ?

Last week our friend Luke whiley flew us upto Gnaraloo for the day in his new plane it was insane we left Kalbarri early morning and we were standing in the carpark at Gnaraloo about 8am watching the surf. It was only about 5ft up there which was disapointing but I didnt care it was still such a sick day we even made it back to surf Jakes that arvo! If only i could roll like that all year….

WHAT DOES THE WEEK CONSIST OF IN KALBARRI MUCH FISHING/PARTYING ?

Kalbarri is a pretty mellow place we are always doing some sort of activity revolving around the ocean if theres no waves and the weathers nice we are usually fishing or diving, the fishing is mental up here we have some of the best fishing in the world especially out the Abrolhos Islands which is just off our coast. Partying fucking sux up here theres hardly any girls so when the waves are flat its time to hit Perth haha!

WORD ON THE STREET YOU DRIVE A SKI BETTER THAN A CAR, IS THIS TRUE ?

Haha probably i spend alot of time on that thing i can see the boat ramp from my balcony so its just as easy taking the ski to go surf as taking your car, we’ve had a new ski for 2 weeks and already done over 20 hours on it.

YOU JUST GOT BACK FROM THE US , DID YOU GET WAVES…  ANY FUNNY ANTICS FROM THE TRIP ? 

Yeah went over to the US with KB for a few weeks, attempted to go surfing but it was the coldest fucking water ive ever felt and about knee height haha! Had heaps of fun over there though went to Coachella music festival 3 days of madness in the desert. Got to see one of my favourite bands The Refused they went  fucking mad best live act ive ever seen!!!! Made all the dj’s that played over the 3 day festival look like a bunch of idiots.

DO YOU HAVE ANY MORE TRAVEL PLANS FOR THE REST OF YEAR ?

pretty much just taking it as it comes ive got plans to go everywhere and know where so ill see what happens haha! its really hard to leave WA this time ofyear you do all these trips away and the waves are usually fucked compared to home. My favourite wave in the world Tomb Stones  hasnt even broken properly yet so thats all i care about at the moment so once ive got that which should be very soon ill go hunt somthing else.

Hahaha breaking hearts i wishhhh! Girls pretty much get put on the back burner this time of year when im hanging up North you cant think about chicks to much up here or you go crazyyyyyyy!!!!! Theres only so much you can take though ill probably have to bolt to Perth soon i havnt been down there for a while hahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!
