"Love these pants! Use them for bmx racing. Lightweight comfortable and cool, baggier than other bmx pants as im not a fan of the almost skin tight look. Would reccomend sizing up as they seam to run small, especially the cuffs. Had a couple of mishaps and no damage/tears either."
"Cant get the pants on or off in less than 5mins of a serious struggle. The cuffs are unnecessarily tight. Im a pretty little dude with total average build and foot size (10). I sent them back."
"The pants are a rad cut, made of high-quality materials, and are durable so far. The size 32 do fit pretty snug (I'm 6'3", 185#), but the material is flexible so I'm not experiencing any unbearable hindrance when pedalling or maneuvering in the cockpit when my saddle's dropped. The only issue that I have is that the ankle cuffs are excessively tight. Getting my feet through the bottom of the legs is difficult and uncomfortable."
"The Trail Ripper pants look and feel great. They are very comfortable and breathable, keeping me warm in chilly weather but not too hot in warm weather. The legs taper pretty slim and barely fit over my heel but they stretch. I think my only wish is for the pockets to be slightly deeper. Overall, great pant for riding."
"Ridden endless different brand pantsso tried these and really like them. Good fit, move nice when pedalling, good pockets and I’ve ridden a few months in them now and see to last well. Lost as star as the ankle is comically tight, like you cannot get them off without serious effort whereas basically every other brand has a more elasticated ankle."

"I have a lot of different mtb pants (NF, Fox, Troy Lee, and so on) and I gotta say, these may take the cake. And considering they’re Volcom’s first attempt at mtb pants, I can’t wait to see what they do next. I hope we get some long sleeve mtb jerseys soon. I’ll definitely be wearing these pants for the rest of my downhill races this summer. The highlight of the pants is definitely the material. It’s super stretchy, absorbent, and breathable. "They really comfortable material but definitely run too big on the waist. the Velcro on the waist doesn’t really help to tighten them that much. Plus they’re also really tight at the ankle and it’s quite a struggle to get them over your foot."
