Solid riding pants

"These are comfy. I've only rode in them once, but there's enough room in the legs for my knee pads under them and the bottoms stay put. They are pretty lightweight compared to some other riding pants, but get the job done. I wish i would have gotten a 33 though, the straps to tighten the waist are basically pointless (but they have a good fit). I would like if the bottoms were had a bit more stretch to get over your foot, but it works. You just need to take them off inside out."

Tight ankles

"Love the pants, fit is great. Only problem is the Ankle cuff is very tight without enough stretch to get over heel. It is quite a struggle to get my feet through putting them on and taking off."

Great design and quality material !

"I bought khaki and black color both feels soft and comfortable but pants are strong enough for bike riding or for anything you can have in mind I would recommend this to anyone who are looking for extreme sports like hiking etc….thumbs up !"

So far...

"So far... I LIKE the leg opening (small) & how tapered they are, but I DON'T LIKE how baggy they are above the knee & how thin the material is (it makes me nervous re rips & tears on the trail)... &, when they say size 34, they MEAN size 34 (not 1/2 an inch more)... I will not be needing the "low profile waistband tabs for an adjustable fit"... I haven't worn'm riding yet, so time will tell..."

Very comfortable but three key issues

"The trail ripper pants are very comfortable. I bought these on sale and cannot complain for what I paid but there are three key issues that, at full price, would have me rather bummed. Number one: these are not at all durable. I've with them on 4 rides (no crashes) and already they're have a tear. Second the bottom holes are incredibly tight which makesputting them on and taking them off kind of a pain. Finally, the sweat stain on these is very visible. The are for mountain biking.. People are gonna sweat can we use fabrics that won't make it look like you peed your pants??"

Love this one.

"Super lightweight, and breathable, enough spase for knee pads."

Trail ripper pants

"These are great comfortable pants. I love the material. The built in velcro belt system is great along with the elastic top works great. I wish they would go on sale especially the black pair "Volcom "?...I have bought this brand of clothes for years and these are so far my favorite comfortable pants from Volcom."

One of the best compare to TLD and Fox pants

"love the Velcro instead of the usual plastic belt and metal adjuster compare to others."

Crazy comfortable

"Took these pants for a ride the other day. Was kind of foggy and cool at the start till I'd gained enough elevation to rise above the cloud layer. The pants were warm enough at the start and cool enough in direct sunlight climbing through a chaperelle covered mountainside. The fit was perfect. No sag. The closure held secure. Enough room for easy access of phone in front pockets. My only beef is the insanely tight ankle. I fear I may rip the seam at some point. I have to invert the pants to remove post ride. Small gripe considering all the positives. In the future a small zipper would benefit the design. 4/5 ☆"

Ankles too tight but good

"These are awesome! Only downside is the ankles are SO tight"
