We have finally emerged from our BEER’A’DISE hangover from earlier this year with our mates Young Henrys today to announce a beer-fuelled 3 day mini-festival at the Hotel Steyne from Friday, November 11 to Sunday, November 13.

Expected to be an “all hell breaks loose” party, the spring weekender will feature Noa Deane’s highly anticipated new film premiere, a pop-up tattoo parlour from Thanks Tattoos & Whistler St tatto, free Nail artist, Live Art installations, as well as a killer DJ lineup spearheaded by beloved names DMA’S, Pacific Avenue, Ruby Fields plus some not-to-be-missed local acts & of course a Mini Ramp being shredded all weekend. Starting the weekend off right on Friday, right from tradie knock off, we will be running Meat raffles and games where you could win Beers, Feeds and Volcom Gear to the backdrop of our Skate team on the ramp, with the relentless punk force of SCABZ turning the decks. Following suit will be Sydneysiders Crocodylus, who have been bringing their distinct brand of crocodile rock to fans through a slew of singles such as “Can’t Understand”,“You” and many more; guaranteeing a ground-shaking dance floor, leaving crowds wanting more.

Headlining an insatiable Friday night of spinners are Sydney locals turned global superstars DMA’s. Exploding onto the scene with their breakthrough single “Delete,” the crew have been on an upwards trajectory, wowing fans and industry critics alike with their AIR Award-winning EP The Glow last year.

On Saturday, November 12, 20+ piece funk collective, The Regime are the next selectors kicking off the bill with their raw energy, mixing their sumptuous tones and alluring lyrics throughout the Steyne. Stepping up to the plate next is the instant punk machine of Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, coating the Manly pub with their infectious energy before Gerringong locals Pacific Avenue make their way to the decks. With a number of singles under their belt, the band have continued to build on the bold indie-flavour and promise a whirlwind night of energetic cuts with frothies flowing at every hour.

Rounding off Saturday’s huge lineup of unmissable DJ sets is Sydney-local Ruby Fields. Gaining a plethora of awards and accolade nominations at such an early stage in her career, Ruby has amassed a huge cult following from the release of “Dinosaurs” and “P Plates,” and has been hot on a streak of tours this year. Bringing her sunburnt indie-punk aura to the Steyne this November, round up your mates for her unmissable in-your-face headline performance.

As we roll in Sunday Nov 13th get ready to laugh your ass off with the LIVE Aint That Swell podcast with Noa Deane and many more on the Panel and capping the night off with Noa’s WORLD PREMIERE of ‘ThE NoZ ViD’

A testament to Volcom and Young Herys history of celebrating culture, arts and live music over the years accompanied by a well deserved frothie, the Rip In Weekender is set to turn the Hotel Steyne on its head !!!

Two years is a long time for a global free surfer like Noa Deane to be stuck in a single location for more than 1 month, let alone 2 years. However, with global travel restrictions we have all been under for the last 2 years, this is exactly what happened and for Noa Deane. That meant Noa’s world wide surf locations were now condensed into a 1,000km stretch of Australia’s east coastline.

Noa's new movie "Noz Clip" is a high octane wave rich 25 minute compilation of what was a, "can't go anywhere, so go everywhere" mindset to get the best waves he could find on Australia's East Coast.

Reef Breaks, Beach break, Slabs, Wedges and Ramps - Noz found it all and gave it everything!

Sunday, 7pm, come dive into a 2 year surf trip with Noa Deane in his latest edit titled "Noz Clip"
